On January 10th our Restoration Team, in collaboration with our Education & Outreach Coordinator, hosted their first Field Day with 16 OPHS students from the National Honor Society Club.

In 2025 we grew our programs, welcomed 4 new hires, bid a bittersweet farewell to coworkers embarking on their next journeys, and expanded our fundraising efforts through the creation of our Development Team.

Big milestone this week: VCRCD staff planted the last of the 400 oaks on the property that allow us to meet the deliverable for the grant!

Last week, we conducted our first ever Giving Tuesday campaign— ‘From the Ground Up’— to raise $20,000 for on the ground conservation and to give back to our community through donating to local food banks.
