AGRICULTURAL ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEMS SPECIALIST

VCRCD is seeking a versatile agriculturalist to fill the position of Agricultural Environmental Systems Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated history addressing environmental stewardship challenges in diverse agricultural production systems. Candidates must be able to work across VCRCD strategic priorities, such as soil & climate resilience, wildlife habitat, and water resources, take on new challenges and opportunities, and possess the communication skills needed for a public presence. The Agricultural Environmental Systems Specialist will be responsible for helping VCRCD meet current grant requirements and assisting in the pursuit of new grant opportunities. The Agricultural Environmental Systems Specialist is expected to pursue VCRCD’s strategic priorities in a manner that reflects the culture and values of the organization.
