The Ventura County Resource Conservation District understands that wildfire is a constant threat for California.

To help residents prepare, the Ventura County RCD, in partnership with the Ventura County Regional Fire Safe Council hosts bi-monthly FREE wildfire speaker series targeted to the community of Ventura County. This is an opportunity for the community to engage with wildfire experts.

Biologist, Poet, and Filmmaker, Maya Khosla walks us through her current research documenting the stories of people and wildlife impacted by fire and living in the Wildland Urban Interface.
